On November 19th, the SCCH 2nd General Meeting 2009, was held in the St.Orban Wine Cellar of Rest. Gundel. The members were given information on the financial outcome of the Chamber activities, for the first 9 month, as well as the forecast for the whole year of 2009.

he Budget for 2010 was also presented.

Concerning the upcoming events during the spring of 2010, was mentioned the 1st General Meeting 2010, in April, additional business luncheons with guest speakers in Febr; March and May, prel. visit to the HAW Airbase in Pápa, SCCH Golf Tournament and a wine tasting tour to Eger.

After the General Assembly, the meeting received a short presentation given by Ildikó Sebesi Halmagyi and István Pásztor, asking for support for the children foundation and help program, the "Domus Familialis Children´s Rescue Mission-Havadtő". As invited guest speakers we had the pleasure to listen to the Swedish Ambassador, Ms Cecilia Björner, talking about the experiences of the Swedish Presidency of the EU and telling about the local activities that has been, as well as still being, organised by the Swedish Embassy and in cooperation with and supported by the Swedish Chamber together with its member companies.

The Ambassador´s presentation was followed by a speech given by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Péter Balazs, informing about the already ongoing preparations for the Hungarian Presidency of the EU, in 2011.

The President of the SCCH, Mr. János Takács, expressed his thanks to the guest speakers for having accepted our invitation to the meeting.
